The Public Policy Analysis major
consists of a five-course policy sequence, a
statistics/mathematics requirement, a three-class internship
and thesis sequence, and a concentration chosen by the
student.

Relations), unless otherwise noted below or approved by the
student's academic adviser.
- Chemistry/PPA students take Math 30 (Calculus I) and
31 (Calculus II)
- Geology/PPA students take Math 57 (Statistics: An
Activities-based Course)
- Physics/PPA students take Math 31 (Calculus II) and 32
(Calculus III)
- Psychology/PPA students take Psychology 158 (Intro
Stats for Psych)
- Sociology/PPA students take Sociology 104 (Survey
Research Methods)
